We recently completed the sponsored walk, in conjunction with AIK Saath (Together as One). A body of young Slough people of all communities, faiths, and backgrounds. All working together to encourage community cohesion.
The charity chosen for the walk was Slough Young Carers, and we raised in excess of £2,500.
We would like to thank all those who participated in the walk, and everyone who donated.
We are happy to announce that we will be attending the Cippenham Carnival on Saturday 2nd July, which will be between 12pm and 4pm.
We will have a tombola, penalty shoot out, and you will be able to collect trust membership forms, club season ticket forms, and purchase club shop merchandise.
Please note that we are NOT running a coach to Concord Rangers on Tuesday 26th April.
The Trust presented a cheque to Slough Town FC chairman, Mike Lightfoot at the recent Maidstone game.
The monies are part of our fund raising, including Christmas draws, end of season walk, and of course membership fees.
We are grateful for the continuing support of our members and we are always looking for additional members. Application forms can be downloaded from this site, or you can join at the Trust gazebo located at Turnstile 4 during match days.
Last chance to pick up your sponsor forms for our annual sponsored charity walk will be at the Trust Gazebo during the Maidstone match.
On 9th April, Slough Town FC supporters will be walking 13 miles alongside members of AikSaath. The walk will start at the home of the Rebels, Arbour Park at around 8.30am, up to, and along the Jubilee River, then back to the ground for the home game against Eastbourne Town.
All proceeds collected will be split 50/50 between the Trust and Slough Young Carers.
If you wish to partake in this walk, and help raise money for this important local cause, or want more details, please go and see the people manning the supporters corner, during home games.
