Annual Walk Details - 2023

Today we can announce the details of our End of Season Sponsored Charity Walk

It will take place on Saturday April 15th prior to our game with Farnborough

SHOC (Slough Homeless Our Concern) will be our chosen charity this season. SHOC is a day centre that exists to provide care for the homeless in Slough and those at risk of becoming so. It is the only centre within a 20 mile radius that offers the homeless both crisis care and long term transformational help towards independence. After it’s success last year, we shall revisit the course starting at Arbour Park and walk the Jubilee River to Taplow Lake and back. It is approx 13 miles. We expect to leave Arbour Park around 08.30.

You can sign up as a walker at the Supporters Trust table on match days. Sponsorship forms will be available shortly. You can also sponsor the walk rather than any individual. We also intend to raise a Just Giving site specific to the walk to make it easier for some to contribute.

All sponsorship raised will be shared equally between the charity and the Supporters Trust Let's try to get good numbers - walking
